BOP autoclave bags, from SPS Medical, are designed and manufactured in accordance with international standards and certifications, for safe and effective sterilization. The products comply with the following requirements:
ISO 11607-1 & 2 : Guarantees the ability of the packaging to maintain the sterility of medical devices until use.
EN 868-5 : European standard for packaging materials for the sterilization of medical devices.
ISO 11140-1 : Defines the requirements for chemical indicators used in sterilization processes.
CE marked - SPS Medical autoclave bags are classified as Class 1 medical devices according to MDR 2017/745/EU.
TSE/BSE: Complies with EMEA/410/01

The bags are equipped with a process indicator that meets ISO 11140-1 requirements. The indicator changes color during sterilization to show that the process is complete:
From pink to brown for steam sterilization, from light blue to green for (EO) gas sterilization and from purple to green for formaldehyde sterilization. The indicators are printed on the edge of the products to avoid contamination.
To ensure traceability, each product has a unique LOT number, allowing detailed tracking of the production history. All bags and rolls are printed with an expiration date. The shelf life is 5 years from the date of production.
SPS Medical autoclave bags are made from environmentally friendly and high quality materials that are suitable for sterilization by both steam, EO gas and formaldehyde. The bags consist of a transparent laminate film and strong medical paper, which minimizes the risk of fiber release.
